Marshmallow Yarrow

Tough, compact, blooms early and often.. Great for containers!
Blue Star ‘String Theory
(perennial)
Shorter than the A. hubrictii but will still get that golden yellow fall foliage that moves in the wind.
Amsonia isn’t just for spring flowers! This is a perennial with long seasonal interest.
Bougainvillia ‘Burgandy Queen’
Bougainvillia ‘Burgundy Queen’ has wine red foliaga and bright pink, fuschia blooms. Amazing combination and it grows fast enough to enjoy it just for one season!

A compact, bright and beautiful Celosia that can handle humidity.

This fire engine red Celosia is taller than Flamma Orange, and would look great in beds with purples and lemony yellows. This an annual that gives heat and can take it too.
Coleus ‘Spitfire’

Sometimes we are so grateful for common names! Everyone know Coleus and most people know that you need to pinch it if you want it to stay compact. But not this variety!
Try Coleus ‘Spitfire’ in a container and you will have a mop of interest all summer without doing anything besides applying a bit of water!
Coleus ‘Main Street Beale Street’

Wow, I guess if you are a bigger plant you get an even bigger botanical name. Let’s just stick with Coleus, shall we?
Main Street Beale Street (at the corner of Main and Beale’ is a large leaf and large stature coleus that will hold its color in sun and perform well in shade too.
Hosta ‘Miss America’
(perennial)
Beautiful and bold, this a large variegated Hosta with well defined white splashes on the leaves.
Hydrangea ‘Fairy Trail Bride’
Hydrangea x ‘Fairy Trail Bride’
(shrub)
Hydrangea ‘Fairy Trail Bride’ is the first cascading hydrangea, and it’s so new that it’s not even clear if it came from H. Arborescens or H. macrophylla or what!
But what’s clear is that it has a really unique growth habit and is covered with flowers.

This isn’t just a pick for 2022, this is a Gold Medal Winner! There have only been 3 in the last 17 years so you know it’s good. Under 12” and blooms all summer. Disease free and adorable, it deserves the biggest photo in this blog post!
