Garden-splaining

I love to speak on the topics of horticulture techniques, garden routines, plant choices, composting, and pruning. I will present what your group wants to know with a sense of humor and plain speaking.

My go-to, first time topic for a group is the first one on the list: Thoughtful Gardening. Because of my podcast, I am able to draw on ideas from the experts I interview and combine that information with real life experiences (and failures) in my own garden.

Leslie is knowledgeable, informative and very entertaining as well as being laugh out loud funny. We have had her speak both via zoom and live and she didn’t disappoint. — Anne Collins, Ford's Colony Garden Club
Listening to Leslie’s podcast is like chatting with my best friend who is as crazy about gardening as I am. I always learn something new, and she reignites my passion for plants with every episode.

I was in charge of programs for the Keswick Garden Club and had Leslie speak at one of our meetings and the members loved her. She is very knowledgeable and informative without ‘preaching’ to the group. She also shows she’s like the rest of us when she forgets a plant or species name. She chuckles, makes a quick apology, and keeps on rolling. I would highly recommend Leslie to any garden club or garden related group as a program speaker - you will not be disappointed.
